Career Opportunity - Front End Developer

We have an immediate need for a front-end Web Developer/Designer focusing on front-end coding of Responsive web designs. You must be self-motivated and have an eye for design and great HTML5/CSS3/Javascript coding skills. The candidate must be have great time-management skills and be able to juggle multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines.

The Front-End Web Designer will work within the creative team to design, develop and maintain highly visible client web pages, tools, applications and entertainment by selecting and using the best technologies for each execution.​ You will be involved in creating the concept, look and feel and overall user-experience for dynamic, data-driven executions for new and existing online destinations.

Requirements:

• 1+ years full time experience with primary duties focused on web design and front-end development in a production environment
• Rapid concept creation and excellent creative design skills
• Ability to translate PSD comps and annotated wireframes into a functioning browser compatible execution using proper markup (HTML5), CSS3 and augment with interactive features using JS, jQuery and Ajax
• Strong understanding of web usability and accessibility standards
• Cross-browser and cross-platform compatible design and development
• Familiar with formal QA methodologies, processes and techniques
• Experience with web content management systems (CMS)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Analytical problem solving skills and attention to detail
• WordPress experience a plus
• Experience in online retail media & advertising, and developing user friendly business web applications a plus
• Flash AS3, Adobe Edge Animate development experience a plus

Job Functions:

• Meet with other team members to discuss project goals, target markets and general requirements.
• Review branding strategies, site maps, wireframes and content plans.
• Based on specifications from the Project Manager, take graphical user interface designs from the Graphic Artist to create front-end HTML5/CSS3/Javascript (jQuery) for Responsive websites (multiple grids), email marketing and online games.
• Work with our back-end PHP programmers, to have your front-end HTML/CSS/Javascript implemented using on our various PHP based CMS systems.
• Be a self-starter, have high standards, be able to work independently and on a team to meet deadlines, even if requiring extended work
